Before we discovered Angels Delight we used to use Angels Eyes to keep our bichons tear stains away.
Angels Eyes worked as promised. After three weeks our boys no longer had nasty red tear stains. Amazed at how quickly it worked we decided to look into it. The only two ingredients were liver and Tylosin as tartrate. It was pretty obvious that the beef was not the active ingredient so we googled tylosin.
Tylosin is a narrow spectrum antibiotic that focuses on a specific range of bacteria. It was developed by Elan under the name Tylan initially to help cure respiratory problems in poultry. Later it was used as a growth promoter in livestock. In the late nineties the European Union banned the use of tylosin as a growth promoter, it is still permitted in the US and Canada but much of the world has followed the EU's lead.
It is still used as a medicine for certain aliments. Unfortunately, other than Northern America, it is no longer legal as a tear stain remover in cats and dogs. This is inspite of the fact that it is extremely safe for dogs and that there is virtually no risk to humans of bacterial resistant starins as it is not administered to humans.
Angels Eyes worked by using the antibiotic (Tylosin) to kill the bacteria in the dog's tears, responsible for the red tear stains.
Our new product, Angels Delight, approaches the problem from a different angle. We cannot kill the bacteria so we halt the point at which the enzyme responsible for the red yeast bonds with the iron in the tears, et voila, job done.
Angels Delight is crammed full of natural ingredients, often missing from a dog's diet. Not only do we hope that it can it help with the dreaded tear stains but it will also help your dog's general well being. It wasn't initially designed as a tear stain product rather a food supplement that helps with bladder stones, cataracts, patella slipping, arthritis,bowel conditions and skin conditions, it just happened that customers noticed that it also helped remove tear stains in their dogs.

Just sit back and wait for the new hair growth to appear On average this product takes 5/6 weeks to start seeing new hair growth.
Customer feedback suggests that Angels Delight works as well as Angels Eyes did but that it does take a little longer approx 5/6 weeks. Unlike Angels' Eyes it wont help to resolve some of the minor eye infections that dogs get but we hope that by improving your dogs immune system it will reduce the risk of infections in the first place.

Although some customers have seen a change in as little as a week, these customers are more fortunate than most who seem to be averaging five weeks. When using Angels Delight for the first time you are unlikely to have cleared up the dreaded red yeast tear stains before the bottle has run out. We recommend this bottle as a top up bottle once you dog's tear stains have cleared up
IMPORTANT INFO-
Any dog that is known to have liver, thyroid problems should NOT use this at all , it can and will give false positive results and the vet MUST be told when a pet is using this. Dogs with pancreatitis need to be aware that this product contains bonemeal and fatty acids.
